I am fair skinned with red hair, green eyes, freckles, all the Irish things that make eyebrows fade into the background. I’ve dreamed of “getting me some eyebrows” but had been so scared of looking like I drew thick black lines over my eyes with a sharpie. The complete opposite of natural! And then I found Rita… Not only did she and I enjoy chit chatting about a number of topics, making the time pass quite nicely, but she knows her stuff! She immediately made me feel a lot better about the whole process when she told me about the variety of colors she has to use and that she’d pick the best combo. I also like that she explained the healing process in detail… and how no one really knows exactly how your body will heal over the etched hair strokes until you do it. I was confident that I didn’t look shockingly different and went to work the next day, less than 24 hours after the treatment. I know I will have to go back in a few more weeks for the planned touch up / fine tuning session where anything she or I don’t like can be fixed… meaning both we can add more strokes or even remove things that I don’t like. I absolutely love Rita and know that she is top-notch in her artistry. The photo doesn’t quite do it all justice but this was literally right before I went in and right after getting back in the car! The color has lightened up a bit since this photo and I’m sure once it heals will suit my face even better....more
